Makers Assemble!

Another year and another fabulous Liverpool MakeFest has taken place in Liverpool Central Library. From coding to glass-blowing, wood-work to virtual reality, yarn bombing to hobby horses, sun prints to gaming, this year’s MakeFest had everything you could ever want to make, play or see all under one one roof. And best of all, it’s all completely FREE!

A new addition to this years calendar was the Cosy Conference. Taking over a space on the ground floor, Ignite Liverpool programmed a series of themed talks by various speakers and facilitated discussions with the audience about them. We jogged down there for the one on Community Building and were bowled over by Little Pink Maker’s passion for making. #inspired

So what were we doing there? Well our role this year was working with the smashingly talented kids from Spark Penketh MakerSpace to film a behind-the-scenes film to capture all the fun and creative atmosphere of this year’s festival… and here it is! Enjoy!
