Join us for a series of FREE drop-in workshops that explore different smart materials, tech and craft in libraries across the North West, throughout March and April 2018.

Smart materials react to changes in their environment. In essence, their properties can be changed by an external condition such as heat, light and other variable factors. These workshops focuses on using smart materials combine with tradition craft practices and materials. Whilst at the workshops, participants can create sun prints, 3D designs, UV paintings, crafty sculptures and e-textile creations, all whilst learning a little bit of STEM knowledge along the way.
