Working with Liverpool Libraries, Wehearttech C.I.C. ran a development project for young creatives in Liverpool, with funding from BBC Children in Need. As part of the project, a group of young people with disabilities were recruited as Digital & Cultural producers and they received mentoring from a range of cultural professionals in different creative skills areas, such as digital media production, organising events, recruiting and working with artists, facilitating creative activities and much more. With this mentoring the Digital & Cultural Producers lit up the libraries with creative activities, events and exhibits, including programming artists for MakeFest 2017, producing a photography exhibit and organising a music-making event for other children and young people.
